I couldn’t find any sites which cataloged IT project failures, so I took it upon myself to build one. I present to you a rather macabre site titled:

aha – i used a tag in furl for a while called huge IT failures. i know cote has a tag for this too. lets all get together and decide on a single tag we can all use- maybe just three of us, but its a start. some useful tag-gardening

That new blog looks awesome! It’s hard to find info about IT failures, and reading that info is always so useful.
While I haven’t tagged anything with deathmarch since Jan., I’m fully supportive of the idea of the 3 of us using it. itfailure is also a nice tag. Like James said, it’d be great if we could normalize on one tag between the 3 of us though (assuming you tag stuff).
Which one of the two do you like: itfailure or deathmarch?
I take it both of you will be contributing then. <wink>
Tagging
I’d be using both. “itfailures” means something for managers, while “deathmarch” comes close to heart for the foot soldiers.
Blogspot isn’t particularly a good application for this kind of resource. Perhaps a wiki?
