The future of source code editing
Romain Guy, the developer of the Jext Source Code editor has written a demo of a futuristic source code editor, which is best described as source-code-comments on steroids.
If we are going to wean a generation of developers off ASCII, we’ll have to do it bit-by-bit, persuasively and progressively, like this rather than like SubText. Before we know it, everyone would wonder why was development stuck in ASCII for that long.
